Moved to Truckee in 1994....Truckee has always been higher. Just visited family in Oakley,and was $2.85/gallon. Sam's Club in Roseville is always cheaper. Costco and Sam's in Reno much cheaper than Truckee. Why? Because we're a captive audience?

Cox family stores in particular continually have the highest prices in the region. Even South Lake Tahoe has cheaper gas than we do. Rural designation has nothing to do with it.

I go to Reno to fill up. The higher than normal gas prices in Truckee have gotten ridiculous. How about a local’s discount???

Tahoe and Truckee gas station owners are just pure scum and have been screwing us all for year’s. Let’s make a change in this town by keeping those bastards honest

Truckee’s prices are crazy. The restaurant food isn’t fresh but it’s expensive. And there is problems at the schools, and no one is doing anything about it. I have a list of changes that need to be addressed.
