I live alone and my water bill was $160! I had to cut back on food to make ends meet! I am very water wise and hand water my lawn only once per week. So upsetting.

Greenslopes subdivision, we went from 7K gallons to 19K gallons in one month, no irrigation system. Called the city and had them do a leak check and nothing. I just don't believe it.

We ran our automatics the exact same as the month before, twice a week, but the water bill doubled. Nothing else changed.

for those of you who did not use more water but your bill went up: did They change the tiers for consprion rates? And those who said they were gone most of the month: did you run sprinklers when you were gone? Lawn irrigation is 80% or more of your total consumption.

I don't believe that customers just used more water. What about those who were out of town for almost a month and still got a higher water bill than the months before?

My water consumption went from around 6,000 gallons to over 12,000 gallons in one month! The bill went up about $20 but it's $20 we really don't have right now..

Bill increased almost 40,00 gallons from July 2015-August 2015 and August 2014-August 2015.

Our water bill was triple the amount that it typically is during the summer. We have been in our house for a few years, during the previous droughts, and have never had a bill anywhere near that high...
