Inspecting and investigating the accuracy of billing is reasonable and sound.

My bill was the highest ever in August. We had completely stopped watering our yard so it should have been lower than July. It was $50 higher.

Not really affected but this is highly suspicious. Deserves to be investigated by a 3rd party.

44,000 gallons most usage in 9 years - next highest 27,000 - I think you have been hacked!!! Only explanation

I'd like the City to hire a third party at no expense to the citizens.

Our water bill went up almost $400 for the month of August. We had cut down on water use for this month and there is no leak. Absolutely no explanation for the high water bill. Went in person to saws today as well as waited over an hour to be helped by phone. Was told that someone would come out to read the meter in a few days. I asked to have someone out to search for a leak between the water main and our home. My entire neighborhood the preserve at Indian springs is having the same issues!

I inquired about my water bill in person and was told that "you used that much water". I also made no sprinkler setting changes and had an irrigation specialist find no leaks.

Some of us will be without water with these ridiculous hikes. This is a huge financial burden on the customer and it needs to be dealt with quickly!

2216 Shark Loop - our bill was double what it normally is in August. And we were gone 10 days during that time. So, it can't be "consumption" like the City of RR Utilities service representative told me.

Same as everybody else, our water bill skyrocketed although I made absolutely no changes to my sprinkler settings.

I know I left my water on a long time and it was not reflected in my bill. I was surprised. I guess they don't even read the meters.

We went from 20, 000 gallons to 80,000 gallons in one month while NEVER changing our yard watering patterns and were out of the country 10 days that month. We paid for plumbers to check for leaks and had irritation specialists verify our sprinklers were in good order. Even with all of this the City of RR gave us the same canned answer as everyone else. That we were watering more. This is a flat out lie and shows negligence on the part of the City.
