I was paying a huge amount- (over 200.00) we are two adults with no pool, no leaks and we weren't watering. I called RR and all of a sudden it was down to 80.00??!??!??!??!

It's pretty obvious something is going on here. Most people who water have their sprinklers set to comply with water restrictions and make no changes. We should basically have two types of water bills each year. One when sprinklers are off and one when they are on. The amounts should vary very little for each type.

pleasehelp pass this petition I am paying 3x's the amount down here in Round Rock than I was in St.Louis Mo and have essentially the same size house, usage and individuals in my home. Additionally my bill was almost double from previous months and was basically told "too bad" from the city when I inquired as to why.

Please investigate this. I run an income daycare. The month of August, I had 11 bodies drinking water and flushing toilets. I also had an inflatable pool that we used quite often due to the hot weather and since I am required to give my kids out door play, it was one way to keep cool in the heat. Not to mention my hand watering. So August bill had a very slight increase, as to be expected. Nothing out of the ordinary. Now.... Fast forward to September. School has started, so we threw out the pool, I now only have 6 bodies drinking water and 5 flushing toilets. I stopped watering my lawn because I heard heard the city was messing with our bills. I was very very careful with water usage, until I got the bill. Yep, just like everyone had warned me, it was a 25% increase and I know for a FACT I used LESS water than the months before. How has this not been resolved. A WHOLE city can't be wrong and lying about their water usage. Get it together Round Rock!

In addition to the higher water bills I would also like the smell and color investigated more thoroughly. The timing of that change seemed to coincide with the increase in the water bills, so my personal opinion is that the two are related. Thanks.

Our water bill has increasingly spike over the last 4 months. Nothing has changed and we have checked all exterior and interior piping - there are no leaks.
Just like their cameras all over it is just another way for Round Rock to take more of our hard earned money.
