Our water usage has also gone up, even though we have less people in the house with kids away at school. We have kept the same 2x weekly watering schedule all summer, and the last two bills have been much higher than usual (double).

I live in Forest Bluff and over the years we have had water main lanes busted SEVERAL times and have been told that sometimes the "meter readers" don't read meters just put an amount in there. I would call water department and have them to check for leaky meters. We are water restrictions anyway aren't we still ? So how much watering can we do. We get a fine if we water off days or excessively and I have given up on my yard, used to care quite a bit.
But maybe having them to come out and check the water main lines would call them to be responsible.

Looks like we had a high meter reading (33200) from 8/13-8/25 then had a "meter swap" on 8/25 and our reading went down considerably (13500) from 8/25-9/17. Doesn't make sense that we would use more than double the water in 12 days than we did in 24.

My water biil was $290 in July and $580 in August and we were gone for 2 weeks.

The excuse given "there were floods in May, nobody had their sprinklers on until mid-June or later" just doesn't fly. Not only that, the callous disregard of hundreds of TAXPAYERS who pay our bills every month and are aware of how much water we use is just b.s.! Stop treating citizens as ignoramuses! Fix the problem.

Our water bills for the past two months have been unusually high. Water consumption were almost 60,000 gallons and 72,000 gallons for the past two months. We are a family of four and water our lawn only 2-3 times per week. It's about double what we used during the same period last year! Please do something! Thanks!

I just moved into this area. I received a 13 day bill of $102.42. I am a single senior, & have never had a water bill this high. When I questioned them about this, I was told "this is just the way it is, our meters are correct". This is shameful & needs investigation !

The City of Round Rock claims I used double the amount of water that we normally use. Not true!! We haven't changed anything and have no leaks. My Aug and now Sept bill is almost $500!!

my water activity was 9200 gallons from june 17 till july15. then from july 15 till aug 17 my gallons were 22400. no way just me and the wife and no sprinker system. the bill was $35.00 higher. the highest we ever had.
