My water bill went up from Aug. 2015.
Normal usage all year was about 6,000 gallons. All of a sudden in Aug. 2015 and Sept. 2015 my City of Round Rock water bill said we used 35,000 gallons!!! How can that even be possible? Please investigate! Thank you, KZ.

Average consumption for a family of 4 should be around 6,000 gallons per month. They are saying we used over 10 times that average at 61,000 gallons. To understand how absurd that is, it would represent over 500 gallons per day per person in my house. Not possible. I am getting a lawyer.

Bill was $487 last month and $370 this month, I planted new sod and watered a little more than usual. For years my bill has been about $75, so this is ridiculous.

There definitely needs to be an investigation. Our bill went up and we didn't make any changes. We even turned our sprinklers off for several days.

Our bill was exactly like this. But my husband travels and he was gone for much of August. Also we have checked for leaks and found none. I would definitely like an investigation.
