The silence from the district attorney is unacceptable and only proves why we need an outside investigation immediately. Please call the attorney general office today to demand they look into the conduct of Chris Connolly. Keep pushing until they answer for their failures in the Cowart case.

We need a DA that will stand up for justice, not his buddies. It’s time to end the continued corruption in Lauderdale County.
Known Chris for years,... This investigation has been a farce from day one. Who are they protecting? Who got off the cruiser at the marina? Sad time for justice in Lauderdale County.
Justice by the Law needs to be done and stop the corruption and coverups. The DA has changed his story many times which means deceit and injustice.
Both sides were obviously TREATED differently, One better than the other.. That's not right... Justice for Lauren and sweet precious child!
This is a botched investigation by any standard. Especially, alleged driver not consenting to a breathalyzer (yet officer didn't believe he was drinking)!! And that small amount of damage to front of 30 ft cruiser caused him to believe in a split second that he might sink. That is bs... We all know it. Find someone who will not be afraid to investigate properly.
Lauren, my sister and blakely, my niece, were never given a chance at life because these cowards left the scene and never thought about anyone but their less than humane selves. My 2 girls were the most beautiful people they were always full of smiles and good cheer. They are our unicorns. We miss them everyday. Because of the cowards on this boat my mother lost her daughter and granddaughter her smile. I post my best friend and my go to for everything, my family lost our 2 girls, blakelys daddy lost his little girl.... Many lost a friend, a coworker, a role model, a color buddy, a class mate. But most of all we lost Lauren and Blakely forever. "She was one of the rate ones: so effortlessly herself. " I love you and miss you both Lauren and Blakely. Forever and always Michael ❤️
Why did driver of big boat not being charged with leaving the scene involving a death and a DUI for refusing the breath test after admitting he had been drinking and sound intoxicated on the 911 tape and even laughs about it on the 911 recording. Chris connley DA of Lauderdale county has covered up alot of cases and he should be investigated. The driver of the boat that killed the woman and her daughter should be charged with DUI for refusing the breath test anyone else would be and for leaving the scene of a accident involving 2 deaths. Anyone else would be! This is discrimination!!! . Everyone that has been charged for DUI for refusing to take the breath test and anyone that's been charged for leaving a accident involving a death!!! Alot of cover up and the US DA should get involve if the state DA is not going to investigate! Shows state DA is involved in the cover up to!!!

No words can convey my extreme disappointment in the way this investigation was conducted. No toxicology tests required for half of the people involved ? Why??
