Introduce CCTV and/or railings in the dangerous areas of York such as Lendall Bridge and around Ouse River

Please don't wait for another fatality

As an ex St John's student my heart goes out to the families who have lost their children to the river. Anything that can help make things safer should be done.

I strongly feel that this should be considered, having once been a York St John student myself. Public safety should be a priority.

Needs done fast

We need to do anything that's going to stop tragedies happening in the River in York

This is so important - please share and sign.

If surveillance is installed it may prevent other families suffering as much as Megan's have these past couple of months.

I was shocked to know that cameras aren't already situated near the rivers with the amount of drunks and tourists it could have saved lives!

We have cameras everywhere else, why not use them to save lives!

Hopefully something will be sorted to help prevent any more unnecessary tragedy's

Need to keep people safe, barriers or cameras whatever it takes.

Lets get this put in place quickly, have them monitored at nights especially.

Ridiculous that this isn't already in place, happening too often in York. As a student I'd feel a lot better.
