Introduce CCTV and/or railings in the dangerous areas of York such as Lendall Bridge and around Ouse River

This is an excellent idea & with all the money the council has made from Lendal Bridge fine, can easily be paid for.

So many people have drowned in the ouse after nights out, when there are pubs right down to the river, its dangerous, there needs to be protection. I'm sure the police are searching the river now for a man who went missing on Sunday night.

Completely agree that there should be gates at the bottom of the stairs so people can't get down and also more CCTV along the bridge and around the clubs near the river so people are a lot easier to track down
