The one fear I have when my sons go for a night out in york is the river.as prettyas it looks by day can be dangerous at night after a few drinks

CCTV not the complete answer. Perhaps the need for fencing. Not pretty but if they continue to get drunk and fall in there needs to be something to stop them.
