Introduce CCTV and/or railings in the dangerous areas of York such as Lendall Bridge and around Ouse River

Not just cameras. York needs a dedicated police force patrolling the river banks at all dark hours. They could use the millions of pounds raised from closing Lendal Bridge to fund hiring more police.

There seems to be someone going missing most days and most of them end up tragic surely as a mum it's not too much to ask for some security in the right places thanks

From being a student myself there is no way there is enough saftey precautions around the river where there is a strong possibility of people being influenced by alcohol. Especially around Kuda and Salvation area.

pity something serious as to happen before anything like this happens,cameras should be everywhere theres potential danger i.e near the river ouse

Instead of paying money out for camars on lendle bridge put CCTV around York and save lives instead of making money out of them !
