I think this a spectailur idea, seeing as I have many internet friends myself and know how hard it is. I suffer from anxiety and mellow depression and that makes it hard for me to talk to real people and makes friends. It's easier over the internet, you can find people who like and dislike the same things, talk freely and be yourself. My internet friends have saved my life more than once, staying up all night on Skype to talk to me and cheer me up. There are more people like me, who struggle making friends, yet have dozens of internet ones. They know they'll probably never meet, never hug that special person, laugh and smile in person, be able to touch them, feel the comfort they give in person. It's a terrible feeling, knowing it's unlikely you'll meet the person who's saved you from self destruction, meet the person who's more like family than friend. Anyways, I think this is a amazing idea! I'm defiantly going to tell my friends! I hope this idea breaks through and becomes a reality. I wish you all the best

THANK YOU LOTS AND LOTS :D Just try and make sure you have all your family's trust ad make sure everything about your online friend is open and nothing is hidden because then they'll also trust that you aren't being dodgy and you're completely genuine in your love for your internet bestie and hopefully they'll also fall in love with their character and let the two of you meet aww i really hope they do :( Maybe you could get some kind of video call software like Oovoo and then you could have a conversation with them and your parents could see?
