I'm mainly worried about tuition fees when permit extension already require so much money on their own. With COVID-19 it's getting harder and harder to make money for our parents for basic needs. What more tuition and other things.

Hello.
I am signing this petition because I have directly been affected by the covid pandemic. I live in Malawi and it’s been so hard to have to always buy internet bundles for school. Internet in my country is not always reliable and it is highly expensive. The price has forced me to not be able to download lecture videos as I would have to try to keep the internet for my online tests and the like because downloading videos takes a lot of data.
I saw that Tuks has been providing for local students’ internet needs and I am quite disappointed to see how they have been dealing with our needs as international students probably just because we are the minority there. I really hope Tuks will consider us and do something to help us international students.

International Students are students also and we deserve the same treatment like the local student. We are not your stooges no we cannot be bullied by an insensitive system.

I think all fees should be cut by at least half since school facilities and dorms weren’t used by most people.

If UP has international students at heart, which I believe to be the case, then it should sympathize and adjust both it's residential and tuition fees just like what other universities have done.
