Inter Island Ferry Service with Vehicles

As the President of the guernsey Landrover club we meet with our fellow Jersey club. The once a week sailings have made this impossible

Older people can’t hire cars therefore need to take their own

I’m moving to Guernsey in May and I will be needing to go to Jersey with my car often. Once a week is not ideal!

Let’s get this situation how we ended up with two firms beggars belief

Our ferry service needs serious attention, it currently doesn’t have the islanders in its best interests

Absolutely ridiculous situation to be in. Guernsey and Jersey's politicians need to hang their heads in shame for getting us into this mess.

This should have been part of initial contract talks with both operators, very poor from Government!

We need our ferry service back ASAP

We, as Islanders, should NEVER lose this service! Don’t know if this service was on the original spec, but, if not, why not?

We need a service that suits its customers. Currently it doesn't

Without sensible and frequent sailings between the islands, so many events both for sports and culture, inter island competitions and the general wellbeing for the communities of both Guernsey and Jersey will suffer. To ensure the frequent ability to travel between the islands is a major issue both governments need to address urgently and get sorted. How on earth these ferries have been permitted to schedule so few inter island boats is ridiculous. Serving all the islands communities is a must and needs action immediately.

Need inter island travel for motorsport events

We need to be able to get cars, house boxes etc between the Islands for sports events

The Islands need regular inter Island travel by boat, how the States of both Islands have allowed the current situation to arise beggars belief!

Horse events such as the Jersey liberation show and Gsy Horse of the year show are major events and not having a boat will have major impacts. People can't always take a week or more off work due to no boats!

This is needed to continue inter island sport
