Integrate Bowie House Hotel into our Camp Bowie Neighborhood

I don't like it. I think it could be nice somewhere else that is a better spot than this. It's too close to my house and I think it will be noisy most of the time. I like how quiet it is now at night and this will ruin it.

Traffic already backs up and blocks the intersection at Clover Lane because of Curly's. Can you imagine how bad it will be on the other end with traffic coming from Montgomery, Lancaster and 7th with this many added people and cars if this only has one entry/exit onto Camp Bowie? Then add in rush hour when things get back to normal. Add in school traffic for NHM and Stripling drop off and pick up. How many times do you think you might have to sit through the light for THAT on your way to work or when you are trying to drop your kids off for school? By the way, Clayton Youth Enrichment at NHM charges by the minute when you are late picking up. How many people are going to start cutting through the neighborhood streets to avoid it so they aren't late for work? I worry this is going to be a traffic nightmare.

I'm underwhelmed with the design too

Please make these reasonable adjustments that will preserve the character of the neighborhood and assist in creating long-term positive relations with the community.

I don’t agree to a hotel on Camp Bowie BLVD . It will disrupt our neighborhood ,more traffic and ruin our peaceful area.

Traffic is my main concern. Especially during events at Dickie’s.

Limit it to two stories Does not need to be in this neighborhood It needs to be stopped It’s a disgrace to the integrity of this historical neighborhood.

Please consider neighborhood resident’s privacy and traffic flow most especially. I hope this is done smart and with humility.

That streetscape is huge, too close to street (where’s the green? This is an old growth neighborhood) and definitely too tall. Scale it all back to fit in physically and the project will be neighborly too. Please don’t develop away the charm of the place we call home.

No, just no. More small business and restaurants. Less big development and huge mcmansions. Keep the charm of Crestline area.

This is disappointing. Wow. This shouldn't have been allowed. Can you imagine how congested and loud it will be? I can already hear the nightclub party music at night, and that's on West 7th and University on the top floor of multistory building. This is just too big and too close to a major intersection. And there goes our street parking. Permit only parking is a hassle and only extends the parking problem deeper into the neighborhood. Since so many of the homes in the historic neighborhood do not have garage parking, they really need the streets in front of their homes to park.

I live right across the street. I might be ok with it if it was smaller, but the height is my main issue. It is out of place in a residential neighborhood. 1206 Dorothy Lane.

I believe it would blend in with the history and integrity of the neighborhood. All the new buildings are taking that away. It's such a nice ride thru the neighborhood, but if they modernized this area it will not be as charming and beautiful. What a shame. ☹️
