They already moved the rodeo out of Will Rogers and at this rate history will slowly disappear. Sad that progress is made at the sacrifice of the past.

I would like to see any noise or music waivers removed. Lighting needs to be addressed as not to impact the neighbors. I don't like when a developer tries to cram a size 12 foot into a size 8 shoe.

What is the point of having rules if the City Council is going to do whatever they want anyway? This project is too large for this location. Scale it down if you're going to build it despite the massive opposition and abide by the codes for construction that everyone else is required to follow. Spot zoning is dismissive to the established, existing residents and businesses in an area. It's disappointing that they would do this to us. And please, please, add more parking and another entrance/exit to help with the traffic issues.

West of this site is nothing but very-established homes. This can't be seen as "the start of something big." It's already developed - all around it. It's a dissonant alien of no community value whatsoever.

I’m concerned about the increased traffic on Camp Bowie and through the neighborhood. Is there consideration for employee and guest parking?

This can be on ok project but remember it’s a hotel being built in a neighborhood,

According to the City of Fort Worth's own site, "Zoning helps to regulate land use, promote orderly growth, and PROTECT EXISTING property owners by ensuring a convenient, attractive and functional community." It also states, "The purpose of zoning land in the City of Fort Worth is to promote the health, safety, and general welfare of the public." Additionally it states, "The Zoning regulations and districts have been adopted in accordance with a comprehensive plan and have been designed to: lessen traffic congestion, provide safety from fire, panic, and other dangers, provide adequate light and air, prevent the overcrowding of land, avoid undue concentration of population, and provide and facilitate adequate provisions for transportation, water, sewerage, schools, parks, and other public requirements." Codes are established for a reason and should be respected and followed. We are asking that our rights as citizen be upheld by the the officials who have the ability to enforce. Municipal parking requirements, Urban Forestry, environmental impacts related to impervious cover, noise and light pollution, building codes, traffic impact and the creation of an overly dense population should all be addressed with resolution while respecting the industry-related professionals who created the codes to protect people and the environment. Citizens are asking that the rules apply to this project as they would to other development.

All of the history that made Fort Worth charming and interesting is rapidly being replaced with projects that remove that very history. The reasons why people move to Fort Worth, have ceased to exist and this development is a great example. This type of spot zoning is wrong and tears apart the fabric that makes a neighborhood livable. What is the point of having a comprehensive plan for the City when it's all too easy to be swayed by special interest "associations" to spot zone in their favors. The neighborhoods are getting tired of having to constantly fight developers and the Council's short-sighted decisions that are bad for neighborhoods and property taxes. This hotel belongs downtown, with the rest. At no point, is a hotel of this size, with adjoining townhomes, appropriate anywhere near an A-5 neighborhood. Jeers to the Council, for this one.

Our family has lived in this immediate area for 99 years and wants to see that the integrity of the historic boulevard and historic scale and value of this immediate residential neighborhood are honored, respected and preserved. The current plans infringe on these in significant ways and must be modified for proper proportion. Otherwise, if built as current plans provide, it needs to be situated in a commercially dense place with similar structures.
