Consider this, how feasible is it to finish writing a three hour paper at 6 in the evening, reach home at 7.30 and study for the next paper which is to be given at 11 the next morning? We are talking about a cumulative 350 pages here. The entire year's portion. HSC marks are what define whether or not we as students get the course of our choice and inconvenient exam timings shouldn't jepordise that. Sociology, being a scoring subject shouldn't have the disadvantage of being given a mere 15 hours (considering the person chooses to stay up all night studying it). The argument maybe that after all the time we have had we shouldn't need more time but I beg to differ. It is subjective to every person's retaining capacity and 15 hours is not enough for a student who has to thoroughly revise their portion prior to the exams. It is my sincere request to the HSC board of Maharashtra to reconsider this timetable and possibly shift the Sociology examination to a more convenient date.
Its not fair they need time to study. And its not like the sociology portion is a piece of cake. Most of the chapters are 40-45 pages which is not easy.

Students are human being after all not robot. Don't you feel the tress which we go through often during exams? Can't you feel this atmosphere around you? Maharashtra Educational Govt. always stives for student's covinience so this happened suddenly? You can't imagine which kind of disaster will take place if there won't be chages

Inspite of being a student of the XII A Class and not having political science as a subject,it is ridiculous to keep a paper as vast as sociology just 12 hours after. Very unjustifiable and the petition must be considered, students must receive equal time to learn and especially do well.

This is so not fair. It's board exams not a regular exam. We need at least 2 to 3 days to revise!

So yes mugging is now officially India's objective with the way our exam schedule shows us just a 15 hour gap where we could probably rattle up all that we know leaving away all that we don't. And what about the ones who conceptually need to brush up segments and good chunks, they should probably just go to sleep because they aren't bagging any good marks for perhaps both the papers.. The change in the date is necessary.
