An institution is: • A Place Where You Are Not Connected To Friends, Family & Neighbors • A Place Where You Have No Freedom • A Place Where There Is Potential Risk For Abuse & Neglect • A Place Where You Have No Key To Get Out • A Place Where You Have Limited Or No Choices In Life • A Place Where You Are Not Treated With Respect • A Place Where You Have No Privacy • A Place Where You Would Not Want To Call “Home” This cause is organized for all to be involved by People First of New Hampshire This petition can be used by anyone wishing to use it in their advocacy to help close institutions across the world.
