Homes with Heart for Caledon
Every person deserves a place to belong — a home filled with love, safety, and dignity.
But right now, adults with diverse abilities in Caledon are being left behind.
After high school, their support systems vanish. Many live at home with aging parents, waiting more than 15 years for supportive housing that doesn’t exist in our town. They want what we all want — independence, friendship, and a life rooted in the community that raised them.
Caledon can do better. We must do better.
We’re calling for the creation of safe, inclusive homes right here in Caledon — places where adults with diverse abilities can live, thrive, and continue to be part of the community they love.

I fully support this initiative that you have created. We have always wanted to find a place where my son can live independently in his future life.
I support this initiative. Homes for adults with differing abilities is so needed to feel sense of community in a safe, caring atmosphere..
Generating public awareness and seeking out opportunities to achieve the goal will improve many lives in the community.
I am in total support of this. Our town needs new leadership for the people and our existing community,. New mare for a start. One who supports who is here now. Not just the developers.
yes - my father acquired a brain injury and is housed in long term care - his IQ is intact - it is so boring for him.
