I have a niece there and one coming, please install the detectors! There is too much freedom for these kids who decide they want to go to war with unarmed kids.

Both Belleville High-schools should have metal detectors. They have absolutely no security and there have been multiple times when guns have been brought onto the premises. Is it going to take a school shooting or someone getting hurt before more security measures are put in place? I hope not! Put some in the middle schools as well! Do Better Belleville School Districts! Keep our children safe!

Metal detectors help keep kids and staff safe. Unfortunately, things like what happened happens, but we can go to measures to keep everyone safe. The safety of the students and staff should be put first and metal detectors while provide an extra layer of protection.

I have a granddaughter who is a freshman. I want her and all the other students to be safe. Let’s do this now before something does happen the next time someone does this. Unfortunately this is the world we live in now . Let’s be proactive!
