Supporting this cause because the safety of our children should be the number one priority the moment those children step on campus. This is not the same world we lived in 10 years ago. Children are growing up faster than ever before. If this could save even one life, it’s worth it. Because it could be my nieces life, your daughters life, your kids bestfriend. We have to stand up together to make a change.

As a mom who have littles coming up through the public school system in Belleville, I highly believe the schools should have metal detectors to keep our schools safe from gun violence.

As a former student this is long overdue. Threats like this have happened multiple times over the last 4 years when I attended. It’s terrifying being 4 and 1/2 hours away knowing my sister could have been in a school shooting.

Inform students like me about life threatening situations directly after a full lockdown and arrest. We needed immediate debrief not a voicemail after the fact

Please include surrounding districts that are a few minutes drive such as Freeburg, Il. There is a need at all of the schools in our area. Even though we are a small town, we have feeder schools from many towns. Some I can think of are, Smithton, Fayetteville, St.Libory, parts of Belleville in THE ORCHARDS neighborhood, and Paderborn, to name some. Any help in our areas would be appreciated.

My student will be in this district in two years and I have had one go through previously. Please try to keep our children as safe as possible.
