Installation of Metal Detectors at Belleville Township High School District 201

My son starts high school next year. My heart sank when i saw this. Please don't let our high schools become a 5 o'clock news story. Them saying we should have could have. Just do it now.

Enough is enough!!!!! Hundreds of kids lives at steak here!! You are worried about tardies and kids smoking in bathroom but not handfuls of kids walking around with loaded guns!!!

Protect the kids

This is the bare minimum. Our children are not safe and the most you are currently offering is that if there is an incident, you might minimize how many students are killed or shot, but you have no way of keeping this from happening. You are lucky a student turned in the last potential shooter at East.

Can you get them yesterday please?

One As a Belleville East alumni and parent of graduate, current and future East students, I know this is a difficult task but we need a change. Twice in two weeks

I know there is no perfect answer for the problem, but this is a good start. It may not be easy for this campus, but I say even one life is worth the effort.

My daughter is scared!!! She is a freshman, protect our children!!!!

Safety shouldn't be concerned whenever we send our babies to school

If every major city, state & federal building; every stadium & concert venue; every airport, etc. can manage to accomplish this — there is no reason it can’t be done in schools!! FIGURE IT OUT.
