Requisition of General Meeting by Members to Replace Current Bays United Board

ONLY CURRENT MEMBERS CAN SIGN (Must be the registered parent of House or Youth players or, playing adult member).

A group of Bays United members are leading an initiative to replace the existing Board. The group includes volunteers with decades of experience ready to take on pivotal roles on the new Board, with open arms for others wanting to join.

While we acknowledge members of the current Board put in many volunteer hours to run the club, we believe that with many areas of the club are not meeting expectations, they are no longer effective and lacking the required diversity and expertise to effectively drive the club forward. Following recent resignations from the Executive team so soon after the election, for the club to improve, we suggest the remaining members of the current board should step down and an entirely new board be installed.

To make this a reality, 10% of members (approx. 160-170) need to sign this petition to have them replaced. If you are interested in installing a new Board, please add your full name, noting you must be an active Bays member. If you want to include your name ANONYMOUSLY or are interested in joining a new Board please email bays10percent@gmail.com.

Once the required 10% of the membership sign the petition, a communication will be sent to the current board informing them to step aside, and a new Board installed as per Club Bylaws 6.11 and 6.12. A new Board could be in place within a few months.
