Qatar Academy is quite a big school that uses a huge amount of energy. The lights are on all the time, even in places that aren't being used (bathrooms, for example). The problem is that so much energy is being wasted which can lead to greater problems: Wasting energy is the main cause of Global Warming. About 40% of total carbon emissions are produced from our homes and schools. This is a huge problem. Not only is energy being wasted at Qatar Academy, but money too. It also polluted the environment. Please support this campaign to install motion sensors in QA's bathrooms so that energy can be saved and help make our environment a better place!

I went through the bathrooms again today and saw the same empty stalls illuminated while the sun was already providing plenty of light. It feels impossible to ignore how much potential we have to change these small habits at school if we just keep pushing for these sensors.

Finally someone said it! The lights in the bathrooms are literally always on for no reason, its such a waste of electricity.
