We need crossing lights at the other crosswalks on Butterfield too (e.g. Butterfield @ Woodside Rd.)

Please help ensure the safety of our children along with all others by adding flashing lights and better street lighting near the crosswalks. Also, more police patrols!

Drivers along Butterfield Rd. drive much faster than the posted speed limit, I fear for my granddaughter and all the children that walk to Brookside School. More police presence might also help.

Please. It’s time for this small and easy upgrade for the safety of our community. Please consider the same for the corner of Woodside and Butterfield. Thank you

And sidewalks on all sides of the street so we don’t need to cross butterfield so much.

This is needed on all crosswalks on Butterfield. Something needs to be done to protect our community and children. This was not the first tragedy.

Please correct this problem.
You can't solve the speeding driver situation without police intervention but we need to give the pedestrian a fighting chance. We knew Carolyn and she was killed by a drunk driver. The traffic moves much faster than the posted speed. Next time it may be a child. This time it was a dear woman and her dog.

All crosswalks on Butterfield should be equipped in this manner and there should be a crosswalk at the Sleepy Hollow clubhouse

Photo radar would be effective to send expensive tickets to speeders on Butterfield near the school. Also on SFD Blvd between Butterfield and Safeway. Also other streets where neighbors complain of speeding. Make these criminal pay for their crimes, and provide more funding to our very thinly spread out nearly invisible police car traffic crime enforcement.

This would be very beneficial. However, everyone needs to slow down all over Marin.

Yes. Pedestrians and cyclists should be encouraged to wear reflective clothing in poorly lit areas. Speed bumps should be considered.

My heart goes out to this woman and her family! I’m also a nightly dog walker, also on a busy, poorly lit, winding street (5th st., Sun Valley), and this is now my greatest fear.

I hope we can add lights to this and other crosswalks on Butterfield. I agree that we also need a crosswalk at the Clubhouse.
