As a student at RSS, I know how hot it can get in the hot months like September and June, sometimes upwards of 40 degrees with humidity. Fill a class with 20-30 students and it gets even hotter. Now, with it feeling so hot, it gets very distracting to the point where we can't focus on learning because we are trying to stay cool. Students are sliding out of chairs and fanning themselves to stay cool, distracting from the learning. In June and September, many heat warnings happen due to high temperatures, and we are in class with temperatures even higher than the outside temperature due to so many people in the classroom. Also, when the teachers are trying to cool themselves down, they can't teach as well.
Please, give us Air Conditioning at RSS.

It gets way too hot, it's hard to concentrate on the teacher and the lessons when sweat is dripping down our faces.
Its to hot in the school the only part in school that has an AC is the main office, Guidance, and Attendance office I almost passed out in the hallway between first and second period I do not do well with heat I have had a kidney transplant and dont do good with heat
i used to go to this school a few years ago. and i have to agree i was very distracted, sweating and feel that this heat may also cause many dress code violations. This is an issue that should of been resolved years ago
The heat is very unhealthy for all students. It us not right that office staff have air and not classrooms. What happened to what is best for the students. Time to look at our boards politics and see that someone wants to fight for this action.
I'm on my last year of high school, not only for me but for future generations at RSS, Ac would help a lot. With our dress code also, Ac will make it easier to follow dress code and be more comfortable wearing clothes suited for our bodies and not over heat.
It gets hot as hell, and on top of that, we can barely wear tank tops or any clothes that would help to cool us down without getting dress coded. I wore a dress last week that was strapless and had to wear a sweater all day to cover my shoulders

My grand kids go here and I do want to see anyone suffer in this kind of heat ! get air conditioning before you have students passing out from heat stroke !
