Plenty of zebra crossings across Oldham have been converted to lights and this one should be no exception, especially given it's history!!

It is really difficult to even see if there are any pedestrians at this crossing when driving through, it definitely needs traffic lights to stop this type of accident ever occurring again. If not traffic lights speed cameras need to be places on both ends

I demand a set of traffic lights be installed at this notorious blackspot, and stop the needles deaths of innocents. I send my heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of this young girl, and a speedy recovery to the girl who survived.R.I.P

Do it now before another life is lost. Put cameras on more traffic light junctions to. Oldham is terrible for red light jumpers

Only Oldham Council could put a Zebra cossing just after a bend on a busy junction how many more have to be killed before you do something about this very very dangerous crossing CLOSE IT DOWN NOW. Condem it.

My heart goes out the the girls family and friends :( really sad! This could of been prevented if it had safer crossings! So please look again and install a pelican crossing!
