the zebra crossing needs to be a pelican crossing , i drive down that road and back every week day and drivers have to be looking to the left to see if anyone comes out of the road on the left and look both ways to see if anyone is crossing . if as happens all the time a van or lorry but mainly busses pull out and go to the centre of the road to make vehicles stop to let them out from the side road on the right from the shops anyone wanting to cross on the zebra from the shops side can not see or be seen .

our thoughts and condolences go out to this young childs family and friends, but how many more children must we bury before the police start putting more resources into prosecuting the eight or more drivers that nip through after traffic lights have gone to red ?

It should have changed sooner I can't understand why 2 people have to loose there life before something is done. As a driver I also know how hard it is to see that crossing when the sun is in your eyes and that the light is hind by the trees in the summer.
