Install a Pelican Crossing on Milnrow Road Shaw, in place of the Zebra Crossing

look how quiet Eastway is compared to Milnrow Rd and you can put a pelican pedestrian crossing there??

im a driver that occasionally uses this road, no matter how slow you go its very hard to see if there are any pedestrians wanting to cross especially at night, the crossing should be changed so its safer for people to cross. there has been many complaints about this crossing yet the council hasnt done anything about it, how many lives does it take to do something about it. thoughts go out to the families of both the girls

all zebra crossings should be done away with and made into pelican crossings think of the lives that will be saved

This is not the first death on this dangerous crossing. Last year it was an elderly couple. How many lives have to be lost to save a few pounds. Shame on you Oldham council, you have blood of these poor young girls on your hands

If it saves one more life it will be worth it, but might be too little too late for some people...!!!

this should be sorted that poor little girl died and another injured also there families. ..it must be awful to lose a child and hope god I dont have to but that family has and even worse to be so Christmas a family time to spend together, that mother wont be able to see her little girl get excited opening her presents this or next so who ever reads this put yourself in her mothers shoes thinking you can never kiss hug hear or see you child again!! the road safety needs ti but sorted!

So sad. Such a waste of a young life. Our prayers are with the families of the girls involved.

Please upgrade this crossing before another beautiful life is taken.
