How many more innocent lives have to be taken, before you listen to all our voices, and put some well needed lights there. R.I.P. Annalise thoughts are with your family at this sad time. xoxo

A truly terrible junction for both driver and pedestrians. Lives are more important than money so get your act together Oldham Council

Absolutely support this petition to upgrade the Zebra Crossing. Drivers persistently ignore Zebra Crossing. Put the safety of pedestrians first. Deepest sympathy and love to both families of girls. R.I.P. Angel

Used to live in shaw and no this junction really well and this definately needs something done urgently. Thats two serious accidents ive heard of that have resulted in someone dying. Needs urgent action to prevent any further deaths.

More than 20 years ago my husband stopped at this crossing to allow a pedestrian to cross the road. A fast moving car was about to overtake when he realised the crossing was there. To avoid hitting the pedestrian he steered into our car. How many tragedies does it need for Oldham Council to take urgent action
