It's a zebra crossing on a major road in the middle of a complicated 5 way junction which has limited view driving from the north, due to the fact it also happens to be on a bend. It serves partly as access to the town centre but mostly as access to three primary schools which are either in the immediate vicinity of it or close by. Common sense should prevail here and there will hopefully be no more tragic accidents.

Driving instructor for 5 years and have bee saying this crossing is dangerous since i started the job - Linney lane/salt street is bad enough for cars to get out of let alone pedestrians - traffic light controlled junction with integrated pelican crossing is definitely needed here
