Very very tragic, lets not let it happen again.

I visit Shaw once a month and run [ast this crossing every time wondering why it is not better protected for pedestrians especially as most footfall is from youngsters. Please sort this out to minimise the chance of another tragedy.

There wouldn't be any hesitation if it was in the middle of Glodwick or on Waterloo street . Drivers don't even get parking tickets down there

Precautions should have been taken a long time ago, now another family has lost a loved one.

As a driver, I find this crossing and junction are horrendous. The crossing itself is not clear, the belisha beacons are dim, and the multi junction is extremely bad, especially at busy times.

Let's hope that People Power wins the day. A safer crossing may give Annalise's devastated family a glimmer of comfort at this very sad time.

come on O/M Council sort this mess of of very unsafe crossing and junction out before another horrific accident occurs, our thoughts are with both families.

I worked in Shaw. As a pedestrian and driver the roads and crossings are not user friendly.
