I pass through this way regularly and it always worries me. Surprised the council hasn't acted on this earlier. Heart goes to the poor family and friends of the young girl.

U mean bad drivers should be replaced they are all dangerous.

It's not the crossing, go to any crossing yourself, see how many drivers fail to stop when the law says they should. Drivers approach crossings as if they are not there. That's the problem. Go see it yourself then you will see where I a. Coming from.....

This crossing is so out of date in every way.Even the markings areall worn out.Do someting now before someone else looses a life.

Just watched cought red handed bbc1 (it's on I player). Drivers jumping the red lights at train crossing which in an accident is far worse as more people put at risk...my point is it's the same at crossings where ever they are. Don't blame council don't blame crossing all that leaves is DRIVERS.......

It's not two near misses its hundreds, go to any crossing & see for yourself how many drivers break the law.

Go to a crossing Kathy & Try & cross a few times see what I see each day. Law says motorist on approach to any crossing must slow & prepare to stop. They don't.. go and see yourself. Stop blaming anyone else But drivers.......

This crossing is in a very dangerous situation and needs upgrading to a pelican crossing before any more families have to face such tragidies.

Act before anymore innocent lives are taken, for the sake of traffic lights being installed.
