The layout of that road is hazardous. It only takes someone who doesn't know the road to be lethal. Something needs to be done. How many times has it got to happen Oldham council. My thoughts with the girls families x

Come on Oldham Council, work for the people that you are meant to be protecting, how many more people must be put at risk or injured by a crossing that is not fit for use before you are going to do anything.The last costings for a Fatal Road Accident were £1.4 million. How much to install a Puffin Crossing and ADEQUATE signage and lighting?
Should have done this before any lives were lost!!

lived up salts st all my life and used that crossing 1000's of time's its very dangerous to cross that road and i've had a few misses myself its people how don't come from shaw don't realise there's a crossing there as it doesn't stand out espeacially in the dark ....it's a death trap and it should of been a pelican crossing years ago ...question is how many more have to die before they change it and if people aren't getting run over there then cars are having accidents there all the time ..
