The TRLE that was released with Tomb Raider 5 was and still is the greatest gift that Eidos and Core Design gave to the fans. Even after games such as Angel of Darkness and Legend - games made with completely new wonderful engines - the TRLE still lives on to this day, and it allows true fans of the series to fully express their creative dreams of giving Lara more and more adventures to raid through. By creating levels with this outdated, yet wonderful engine, all fans are actually fulfilled, because it gives everyone the chance to create Tomb Raider in their own vision. With every level that is made, and every level that is played, Tomb Raider and Lara Croft live on, no matter what some people may think when they say the old games are dead. And since making the idea of Tomb Raider and Lara Croft live on for the fans and gamers is Eidos" greatest priority in continuing the franchise for future games, it should without a doubt be also their greatest priority to continue the possibilities with the classic TRLE. And therefore, releasing a sourcecode for all of us to work with, would allow us to continue expanding the Tomb Raider universe, and so bring more fans to the series and also keep the excitement in the current fans as they continue to build, play, and express themselves.
