Save all our addicted children, they need respect and love. They need treatment not neglect.

Same is true for those incarcerated doing crimes, for $$$$$ to get high

although we as a society have come a long way in our treatment of the mentally ill this case illustrates how very far we still have to go.

substance abuse is at an all time /epidemic proportion ..our prisons are filled with dual diagnoses .. Often drug abuse will trigger the mental illness ... And at times mental illness will seek drug abuse . Prison, jail is not the place for these men and women suffering .

My daughter needs rehab. She's going to jail. She's never hurt anyone but herself and her family. The mentally ill, the addict, and the elderly need help, not jail.

So sad :(

People think that if something as serious asthis does not affect them, than it's not their problem. we are all GODS children and he created each one of us to LOVE and CARE for one another and we need to start doing just that NOW!!!!
