I grew up in Denver but currently living Utah, when I heard about another school shooting I wasn't too shocked, it was sad to think Claire Davis is in the hospital and she was just going to school like any other person that day. I always look at 9news and I saw this so I thought I would help support you guys (: good luck.

Agreed. And it's obvious from the last election 18 years old is not old enough to vote. We should revoke the right to vote from 18 year olds too. And probably the right to free speech while we're at it.
But we should still let them join the military and go to war.
Definitely agree. There are many things that can be done. These are my thoughts: 1) Congress pass legislation to make current funds available for police departments to assign an officer to every public school, 2) Start a Teaching Your Students to Thrive course: A Parent Class for Raising Children in [Blank] Community, 3) Creating a mini-grant program to help local communities stand on their feet to make physical security changes to their campus. I'd love to work with your group to effect change.
It's not obvious at all. What is obvious is THAT 18 year old should not have bought a shotgun. To make a blanket statement that all 18 year olds should not be able to purchase a firearm is going too far. Again, what is needed is health care reform, NOT more gun control laws.

It's obvious from the last shooting that 18 years old is not old enough to be buying firearms. Mental health backgrounds checks are imperative. Thank you for doing this...Change has to come from within!

No one is hiding behind the right to keep and bear arms. That is a God-given Constitutional right, not a right conferred upon the people by a benevolent government. Pro 2A citizens simply want to protect that right and not allow anti-gun proponents to use emotion to erode that right. I do agree that the media and entertainment industry has glorified violence (not simply "guns") for too many years and that has had a huge negative impact on our children and our nation. A gun is an amoral, inanimate object.
Very inspiring. I applaud the courage of these students and admire them very much
Follow up on the people who FAIL the background checks because this is NOT being done!
Outstanding ideas! That's the kind of "out of the box" thinking that is needed...real solutions and not grab-the-guns emotions.
Love it
