Broughton Astley has already reached the maximum housing it can safely accommodate. We are flooding as soon as it rains .. the doctors are full & the village roads & facilities can’t cope with another 1000 cars … so unless the prospective developers build another village bypass .. completely replace the sewer’s & drainage.. build a new doctor surgery, building here is not an option. Due to the topography of the village any more building will lead to ground water & surface water just running off & causing more flooding issues .

No more building in Broughton Astley as it is clear flooding is getting worse and many home being destroyed time and time again !

Can't believe they are even considering this. Flooding is already bad enough - this is gonna make it 10x worse.

It will be making matters worse in many ways adding more houses to the village

Should be significantly reduced!

Please consider how this flooding is currently worsening and can only become a bigger issue with the planned housing developments

I am a new resident to the village and already experiencing problems with the drains and flooding. Definitely need to find solutions to existing problems before adding more demand to the same infrastructure.

As someone who has lived in the area for my whole life, I have seen the impact that building on the local flood planes is having, and it is causing major damage every year, and is getting worse each time.

Flood risk and increased traffic congestion without radical road and drainage improvement renders this application totally insane and unsustainable

Our village is drowning with no regard being given to the impact this development will have on the existing residents and wildlife.

All development needs to cease. The village has been ruined enough.
