Too many villages are becoming water logged at the first sprinkle of rain. Time to put infrastructure before houses.

Just when is enough your going to build on land that will impact the whole community, the village will flood people's homes will flood , you can't just ignore the local community.

The village is already flooding. Building yet more houses is ridiculous & will just compound the problem.

The local planning, local councils and government have to sit up and start taking these problems seriously.
It is not a local problem but a national one!

For more than once a year, over multiple years, the village floods and causes nothing but disruption and financial burden for the residents but also the council themselves. For once listen to the people who elect you etc and put the required infrastructure in place first

The village infrastructure just cannot cope with any more houses. The flooding is getting worse every year and people are really struggling to cope with the aftermath of heavy rain. It's heartbreaking to see flooded houses, gardens and roads and the stranded animals. These are peoples homes. I visit the cemetery and find it very distressing to see the headstone / final resting place of my loved ones under water. The headstones are also starting to sink into the sodden ground.

Can’t flush toilets as the water fills to the brim. Shower is like a paddling pool and water sits in the sink until the drains can cope with excess water.
