The developers won't have to live with the consequences of this reckless development. I hope the planning committee have the good sense to refuse it.

This is crazy to add 500 new homes upstream of a road that is now flooding every time we get heavy prolonged rain is mad. Have the planners no empathy for people whose houses are in Frolesworth road and are already suffering. Are they going to be liable for the extra damage and trauma they cause. I very much doubt it.

Infrastructure needs to be prioritised. I would urge any planners to consider whether thy would want to live in the homes that are affected by flooding. Always consider others and don’t expect anyone to live to a lesser standard than that which you would expect due to your actions or decisions

Without a major redevelopment of the drainage and sewer system in the village there is no way new houses can be added

Very poor choice of location. Just because it is an "empty" field, does not make it great building site

Drainage is bad enough now ,without lots more houses

It is clear the area is not suitable for hundreds of extra houses on green fields

It's an absolute disgrace that we have so many new builds and more flooding, and no extra facilities in our village that is as big as a town now. Takes me half hr to get through to speak to drs reception and chemist is over run. We don't want anymore houses and all the extra cars and floods !!!

I think we have had enough changes in this village. The roads are busy now. Doctors struggling besides the sewerage system.

Whilst I don’t live in Broughton I drive through the village regularly and the flooding has definitely got worse over the past decade.building more houses on the proposed sites can only make this worse.
