Infrastructure First, Broughton Astley Village

Before any more development is approved the regular flooding of Frolesworth road must be addressed. Suds on a new estate won't be the solution to preventing the flooding already occuring.

No more houses in Broughton Astley

Frolesworth road floods every year from surface water and poor drainage. If work has been done over the year since the last flood why is this not shared or communicated. We can only assume nothing is being done and our council don’t care about people’s homes, businesses or the community. Please do something and tell us what you’ve done.

Allowing just 2 vehicles per household the village infrastructure cannot possibly cope with any further development

If these areas are to be built on, developers need to put monies upfront to deal with the increase risk of flooding, in addition to providing funding at completion of projects for infrastructure within communities.

This is poorly researched overdevoplment which will both increase flooding and further overtake the outdated infrastructure of the village

How many more houses can they put in a village. And how many more industrial estates they wonna put up... And how long before we lose the village status.

I don't agree with the new development. It is in a flood zone, the local roads are already too busy, the doctors is full most times, there are not enough shops to cater for more houses.

Upgrade the infrastructure before more construction.

Village will be swamped with vehicles and cars whilst the village services could not cope whether obvious ie doctors or those underground such ad waste. This road is prone to more flooding now losing farmland means less area for water to soak away

This build will swamp our village not only because it's being put on a high flood area but the increased traffic, doctors and schools are already oversubscribed and can't handle anymore.

Absolutely ridiculous this is being considered in a village which is already under immense flood pressure.

Flooding is likely to disrupt the whole village, not just the people who live near it.

Broughton Astley is struggling to cope with flooding already. NO MORE HOUSING

I object to further development in Broughton Astley & Sutton in the Elms due to poor infrastructure. I object to the Frolesworth Road development plan additionally due to flood risk
