Having driven through yet another flood back home to Frolesworth and seeing householders digging the end of their drives whilst some drivers are driving at speed and deluging other drivers I totally wish to sign the petition to prevent any further building which would add to this total chaos.

This situation is unacceptable 3 years of village flooding, we need to find out why before we add anymore houses to the village.

Severe flooding again today along Frolesworth road. Flood prevention infrastructure needs to be in place before any building work begins on the proposed 550 house site next to the recreation ground.

Sorry but this area is no place for yet more houses schools are overwhelmed doctors overwhelmed, it took me 4 weeks to get a appointment, the roads are getting horrendous with cottage lane being used as a short cut, being a one track road it can not take the amount of traffic using it and as for the flooding after living here for near on 40 years I have never known anything like it for the past 5 years with it getting worse year on year

Broughton Astley simply cant cope as is stands today.
Nothing gets fixed properly.
Broughton Astley isnt important enough to HBC. Our distress calls go unheard.

We have the farm alongside the proposed development and the flooding is already horrendous. If the fields can’t absorb the water then how can all the houses and concrete help?

Building more houses on roads that already flood is madness. The drains and sewage can't cope with what is already there. Infrastructure us insufficient for current needs especially doctors.

This is ill-conceived with the flooding we are currently experiencing - Frolesworth Road is closed to traffic tonight due to flooding, how are the residents on the new proposed estate supposed to get home, when I couldn't even get to my house on Jubilee Road this evening?!

This has to happen, the community cannot cope with much more destruction let alone houses

I drove through today and the water was pouring, fairly off the field and entrance of the farm that is at the centre of the proposed housing development.
