I am now 60 and I was born and brought up in Broughton Astley and there has always been an issue with part of this road flooding but over the last couple of years it has got even worse. Another 550 houses will obviously make this situation worse as it will be more green areas that cannot take the water.

We live on frolesworth road and the frequent flooding is a huge cause of anxiety and disruption alone our road. No work ever seems to be carried out to fix the issues and prioritising protecting existing residents should be the focus over new building works which will only add to the issues

Please fix the pipes / drains / roads before considering to build any more houses. The village gets flooded, water have got nowhere to go. Houses get flooded too. Thank you

Too many houses being built with no thought to the over population it brings when there’s no plans to build more schools, doctors, dentists etc being provided. Plus it puts a strain on the roads that aren’t even being maintained so there’s pot holes that aren’t being repaired.

The area floods like many fields around this area . And some idiot wants to build houses on it. Council tax money . Roads falling apart. Ditches along the road not maintained. Drains no longer kept clear. Absolutely ridiculous

The antiquated drainage system cannot cope as it is, never mind with additional housing on a sloping site! Doctors are over subscribed, as are the schools. It is simply not viable.
