The flooding is out of control and needs addressing before any more houses are built

The passing of these estates are ludicrous. The councils are not bothered if existing homes are effected but when they are these people that pass these new estates should be accountable!!

Consider the current infrastructure before stressing it further with more development. BA has accepted continued growth over the years but very little promised from developers regarding sympathetic infrastructure additions.

Crazy to build in this area it’s starting to flood year on year. The road/s are not suited to the volumes. Visibility is poor. There are safety hazards with children going to school. The doctor’s surgery is crammed as are the schools. Who on earth will purchase these properties. Who will mortgage them let alone insure them. It’s ridiculous greed. Go and build on scrub land/barren land and HDC fo your due diligence properly. What you gain in builders subsidies and rates you will lose as properties devalue and people relocate.

Broughton Astley cannot cope with more houses. The doctors etc could not cope with these extra houses. Houses already flood and the proposed site is often under water

After endless rain these past few days , the flooding on Frolesworth road is as bad as it always is! I say NO to the proposal of new houses being built off this road !!!!

The land is currently flooded. We can’t allow more houses to be built on this land other wise it will create more flooding

It is madness to keep linking up more and more new properties to Victorian era drainage systems designed for a small village and expecting it to cope as we ignore advice around building on flood plain

The area already has numerous developments which is already having an impact on the environment causing flooding, congestion etc. and causing stress to an already impacted area. Please no more developments.

We cannot accommodate these new housing builds without infrastructure development first
