No need to explain! They are the best boy group to do it!!
I have been a fan of New Edition since the very beginning in 1983.
Through the years, I have watched them positively influence the music industry in several areas and help bring attention to as well as launch the careers of numerous people.
I think they have more than proven they are deserving of being inducted. 40 years later, they are still selling out venues across the country and breaking records selling out their Vegas Residencies, within minutes.
There has NEVER been a group of 6 that has successfully created 6 different acts from 1 main act and they have all been award winning.
They have legions of fans worldwide and they are all different colors, ages, and genders.
New Edition has given their all to the industry, and I think it's time for the industry to reward them for all their influence and contributions, and hard work with an induction.
NO ONE DESERVES IT MORE THAN THEY DO!
