On just influence alone it's a slam dunk. CT have been CONSISTENTLY making GREAT music for close to 40 years!! I will forever be a fan. Much lesser acts are in the RARHOF. It's high time these icons are recognized. WAAAAAY overdue!

This band has influenced so many others, if that's not enough to guarantee a spot. Not to mention their contribution to guitar design and innovation. I worked with these guys in the guitar industry. They've done A LOT to influence music.

The most underrated rock band in the history of music. I have only had the honor of meeting Bun E. in 2004, super nice guy and he signed my CT Dream Police Cover Poster. Had it since I was 21, got Robin, Rick and Tom to finish it off in 2006 and I have forever been grateful. Been a fan since 1977 and my son and grandson are CT fans. Love their music and it's just about all I listen to in my car. INDUCT CHEAP TRICK INTO THE HALL OF FAME ALREADY!!!!!!

Tom Petersson invented the 12 string bass around 1977!!! CHEAP TRICK made The Budokan famous!!!
