I was born & raised in Rockford & am proud that a great band like Cheap Trick came from my hometown. They deserve to be in the Rock N' Roll Hall Of Fame!!!!

I became a fan of Cheap Trick even before I heard their songs. During a time when I felt down due to a medical crisis, I read an article in Rolling Stone about CT and how they were opening for KISS. They seemed to not fit in with the fan base but their attitude said that they knew they were a great band and even though at that point they were quite famous they just knew with hard work they would realize their dreams and things would get better. It was with that attitude that my depression lifted and I felt that everyone would be so much happier if they looked at things the way the guys in CT did. I have been a fan since 1977 and will always support them! They more than deserve to be inducted!

A friend of mine was astonished they were not in the Hall of Fame, and commented it was sad they weren't, and she doesn't listen to the genre.
Cheap Trick was one of the first, if not THE first, to do whole albums live in concert, which a lot of bands are doing nowadays. Cheap Trick influenced several bands in several genres, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Anthrax, etc.

Cheap Trick is without question one of the greatest and longest enduring rock and roll bands in the history of rock and roll. Their music is popular world over. Not to include them in this hall of fame would be a travesty and disservice to the spirit of rock and the millions world wide who enjoy their contribution to the world of rock.
