That junction is a deathtrap .I have to cross there twice a week .There is a constant flow of northbound traffic bumper to bumper.

I can't understand why you can't get a stop light put up at this intersection but you can put one at 28 &52 and out on 231. This intersection was bad before the detour and now it's even worse. You made a statement that the accidents that have happened aren't because of no stop light. How's that???? Wake up! My boys drive through there. How would you feel if your kids had to use that intersection daily?? It's like playing Russian roulette!!

Put a light up . I'm new to this area just a little over a year and the first time I went through there ,I said there needs to be a light here .

Please put a stop light or roundabout at 52/47 intersection. As a local, I know how to maneuver that intersection, others don't and its killing people. Do we have to wait until it's one of YOUR loved ones involved for this to change? Do YOU need to feel the pain of comforting someone who has lost a loved one there? I pray your answer is no, and you do YOUR best to prevent ONE more unfortunate, untimely death.

A stop light at this intersection has been needed for decades! A high school classmate was killed there 35 years ago. Sometimes it is nearly impossible to cross US 52 because of the traffic.

I'm a firefighter with the Thorntown/Sugar Creek Twp fire dept and with the increase in traffic due to the bridge construction on 65 we have seen an increase in accidents in recent weeks. Even without the traffic from 65 it is still difficult and often dangerous for us responding on runs when we have to cross 52 from 47 even with lights and sirens going people do not slow down and it is difficult for us to cross! There needs to be a light at US 52 and state road 47 and a permanent reduction in speed limit on 52 in that area!
