Indot needs to listen to Sheriff Nielsen and the residents of Boone County. Get the stoplight installed asap!

How many more adults or children have to get hurt or die to make a working stoplight system important ~ not the current flashers ~ a 4 way stoplight system?

Please add a stop light at this intersection. With the traffic due to construction school back in session along with the accidents that happened recentky something needs to be done. How many injuries or fatalities do we need!

I would also like data results for intersections of 28/52 and 47/52 of accidents. There is a stop light at 28/52 and that intersection is split.

I vote for overpass. As 1 of 7 school bus drivers who crosses 52 at or near this intersection 4 times a day (twice with a full bus of students), it can be scary. Due to the length of the bus, we must have a clear shot thru all 4 lanes to proceed. To complicate this, vehicles on 52 often disregard the reduced speed zone making it difficult to judge. Additionally, I've seen it all when it comes to vehicles attempting to turn from all directions. Some stop completely on the thru lane, some don't claim the turn lanes in the median, others do but not properly. It is very common for a confused driver to sit & freeze or even attempt to wave the bus thru (across non stopping traffic) because they don't know what to do. I've waited for several minutes before because I refused to cross when the other driver refused to move, even though they had the right of way. It leads to a log jam of vehicles hesitant to proceed & quickly approaching traffic continuing thru. Fortunately, the escorts we are receiving to cross during the 65 closure have made it as easy as it gets. I couldn't be more thankful for their daily efforts to get us across safely. However, our parents & students who drive don't have that luxury. A temporary fix is very much needed until the closure is complete but a long term solution has been needed since at least 1982. Any assistance from anyone is appreciated!

we need a stop light now not when idot thinks we do . how many more lives half to be taken before they get there heads out of there hind end

A stoplight has been needed long before the I-65 detour took place. A stoplight is most definitely needed now.
