I lived in Lafayette and commuted to Indianapolis 7-10 times a month via 52 and also have friends who live off of 47 and this intersection has been a topic of conversation for a long time. Even with this being a temporary situation with I-65 this will be an ongoing concern for many people.

This intersection is a nightmare under normal conditions. I can't even begin to imagine how much worse it is now with all the detour traffic.

Our children have to cross here twice a day in buses. Even without the traffic from I65 coming through this area it is a dangerous intersection. Several accidents take place every week. Enough! Please protect our families.

My school bus got stuck across the south bound lane the other day because someone stopped at the divided highway. It is a very dangerous intersection
